Our Love Story
How We Met
We met the way all great love stories begin — in beautiful Bridgeport, Connecticut. As interns at St Vincent’s Hospital, we were both thrown into the ICU rotation and became fast friends during shift turnovers. Andrew loved that Nicole reminded him of Daria, the sardonic cartoon character of the 90s; Nicole loved Andrew’s dark sense of humor and inability to stifle a laugh during lunchtime intern reports. And somewhere between rounds, bar hopping, and trivia nights, we went from thick-as-thieves friends to falling in love under a meteor shower on the beach (literally!).
The Next Few Years
Our early days involved a blur of weekend trips to New York and Boston while we dated long distance during residency. From conquering corn mazes on cold New England evenings to ordering tostones from the Chinese take out in Washington Heights, we made the most of any time we could be together. And after moving to our new Midtown apartment, we learned to appreciate each other’s definition of culture. For Nicole that meant walking to Broadway shows in the theater district; for Andrew, driving to Ghost and Iron Maiden heavy metal concerts in Newark.
The Proposal
After seven years and a relocation to Florida, the proposal was perfectly us: chaotic yet magical. Andrew had planned a New York City proposal but then Hurricane Milton started bearing down on the Gulf Coast. We had to evacuate inland to escape the storm and during a sunny post-hurricane day, we squeezed in a little Disney World magic at EPCOT to celebrate surviving the storm. Well, Andrew had a larger celebration planned and with the ring burning a hole through his pocket he got down on one knee during the fireworks show and asked Nicole to marry him. And of course she said yes!
What Comes Next!
We’re so excited to finally say “I do” and celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people. Thank you for being part of our journey — your love and support means everything to us. We can’t wait to share laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories with you on our big day!

The Dress Code
We kindly request creative black tie attire. Think classic elegance with a personal twist. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but feel free to incorporate bold colors, unique textures, or statement accessories that reflect your style. We can’t wait to see how you bring your flair to the celebration!
Will we be inside or outside?
The ceremony will be held outdoors. We’ll continue the celebration with cocktail hour and reception to follow indoors.
